Allan Siegert started his career as a journalist working the police beat. He says covering murderers and politicians has provided him with a good background for blogging about CRM and Cloud Computing.

Perhaps some other parts of his background help as well. It includes selling data center (CLOUD) services(Global Center, Exodus, C&W and SAVVIS) and a longtime career in the financial markets. Around the same time Miami Vice was popular on TV, he ran Reuters Off-Shore Tax Haven business (from Barbados to Bermuda) and the Southeastern United States as well. He later worked for Thomson Financial rolling out low latency financial data feeds prior to the firm’s purchase of Reuters. Before Reuters he was VP Newspaper Sales for UPI.
He enjoys working at Navatar Group because it combines the best of Cloud Computing and Sales CRM – and, he doesn’t have to talk to politicians or killers.
